Igrane

Igrane is a colourful settlement on the Makarska coast. Rows of cascading houses on the steep slope of the place descend into the old centre towards the sea and the harbour. Long pebble beaches and several hotels make Igrane a desirable destination for family tourism. During the calm Dalmatian winter, the 350 inhabitants devote themselves to olive growing and fishing, until summer brings the tourist bustle. The settlement is expanding south along the beach with the construction of comfortable houses and villas.
