Živogošće

Živogošće is located on the southern part of the Makarska Riviera below Biokovo. It consists of three smaller, unconnected places on the coast: Porat - Mala Duba - Blato, which are about 1.5 km apart.

An area with 6 km of pebble beaches, a clean, unpolluted sea and an abundance of untouched Mediterranean nature gives Živogošće a special charm and pleasure of staying. Tourism is the main activity here, so in addition to hotels, private apartments in larger family houses are also rented.

Above the Adriatic highway are the old parts of Živogošće - Strnj and Murava. In these hamlets below Biokovo, stone houses are intensively restored and placed on the tourist market as luxury facilities in the silence of nature.
